Cleaning Operative
Location: Glasgow, Auldhouse Retail Park
15 hours per week

Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 8:30 AM

3 hours per shift

Potential overtime on a Saturday

Role overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated areas such as reception, consultation rooms, procedure areas, clinical back of house and offices, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while gaining valuable experience in cleaning services. Immediate start required.
Duties:

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, and other facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment

Disinfect surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed
-
Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
-
Adhere to the scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes

Skills:
-
Prior experience in cleaning is essential
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
-
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices is a plus

Industrial Cleaner
Location: Glasgow
Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Shift Pattern:

4 on / 4 off night shifts

7:00pm – 7:00am

Full time hours

Capital SSG is looking for reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaners to join our growing team in Glasgow.
​
This is a hands-on role working within an industrial site, helping to keep workplaces clean, safe, and running smoothly. Full training and support will be provided where needed.
​
What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out industrial cleaning tasks to a high standard
-
Following health and safety procedures at all times
-
Using cleaning equipment and protective gear safely
-
Safely inspect equipment before use. Full training will be provided.

Follow safe manual handling practices. Full training will be provided.

Working both independently and as part of a team
-
Maintaining clean and professional work areas on site

What We’re Looking For

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Reliability and good teamwork skills

Awareness of health and safety practices

Previous industrial cleaning experience is helpful but not essential

Comfortable working in physically active environments

The following would be an advantage, but are not required:

CSCS or Safe Pass card

IPAF certification

Important Information
This role involves:

Working safely at height

Working in a confined space

Physical/manual work
-
PPE is required at all times, including safety shoes and face masks in some areas
All work is carried out in line with UK health and safety regulations.
